Hey, i'm kaley and I am in my second year of Masters in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing at The University of Wolverhampton, upon completion I will receive GMBPsS. I have a special interest in Limerence and Maladaptive Daydreams, a topic still very much unexplored which I have contributed to by writing an article published by The British Psychological Society. Helping others with their mental health is my biggest passion and I am dedicated to my practice.
I have been working in various roles in the NHS since the launch of the COVID vaccination programmes in 2020 where I was involved in the mass vaccination operations across two sites, after this I went onto be a GP receptionist and then a Care Co-Ordinator. I learnt the most in my first Care Co role where I had my own clinic in the University of Salford health centre, helping and supporting patients with their mental health and wellbeing, this job inspired me to do my masters, unfortunately there was no longer any funding for my role so I have since moved onto Salford North PCN, here I have also learnt a lot about QOF, Clinical Coding, pulling data reports off emis and helping GP practices meet their end of year targets, it is also a rewarding role but only temporary until I have completed my Masters where I hope to be qualified for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner role.
I am doing my Masters currently in Psychology.
