I am an experienced and well presented Registered Veterinary Nurse with a positive attitude who‘a currently working full time in a small animal first opinion practice across two branches as a multidisciplinary RVN.

I am looking to explore new positions available to me within the veterinary industry from my notice period of April 2025.

Since I qualified as an RVN in 2012, I have broadened my nursing experience across a variety of small and large animal practices as well as in a orthopaedic and an ophthalmology referral practice. I have also been a clinical coach and a head nurse.

I feel I perform best when able to utilise my full nursing skill set, to be involved in all aspects of inpatient and client care. I am compassionate, patient and progressive, with a keen focus on helping practices become more environmentally sustainable.

My areas of interest include providing contextualised care, setting up and running nurse clinics, consulting with a particular interest in weight, nutrition, geriatric and feline clinics and striving to improve client care and the customer journey.

Prior to my current role, I diversified for 7 enjoyable years to explore the world of veterinary sales in both a Veterinary Business Manager role and a Territory Sales Manager role. My first sales role was working for Royal Canin Veterinary Foods, then most recently for Dechra Veterinary Pharmaceuticals.

I maintained my RCVS registration by locuming with Vetsnow.

I returned to work full time as an RVN in December 2023.
