I am currently really enjoying my role performing Monday to Friday, taking care of 3 private garden squares in South Kensington. This role involves discussing a plan with the manager before completing. I am in charge of the everyday horticultural tasks, as well as locking up every day.
Ground Maintenance Operative - John O'Conner - London

As a self-employed on a 6 month contractual term, in this role, my responsibilities on site are to help and maintain Alexandra Palace park. This is from weeding to hedge cutting, strimming, mowing, and other related tasks. Always with a great and can do attitude. We maintain a list of properties all over London which we visit on a scheduled basis, this mostly includes L&Q housing residential and a number of private areas.

I was given the privilege of rotavating ashes at Lords. During my short time I shared as much of my general practise methods, identified to manager risk factors, and beyond.

A great experience, and was offered an apprenticeship. I was really happy to learn the methods applied into running a large scale green space operation. This included the park and private residential lodges associated on Primrose Hill. My eagerness for the role meant I would sometimes over perform. The importance and impact of health and safety.

This was a 3 months short term, and part time position extended to full time. I was very happy to have spent over a year in a position that was advertised at 3 months.
