Karine Sarant

Passionate about Art History, I have learned to use various research tools to locate works, historical books, and archival items to find biographical information on artists, known or obscure. I am very familiar with the holdings of art libraries and research centres in the UK and elsewhere. The four European languages I understand have proved to be extremely helpful in my previous research.

I am now looking for new opportunities for which my skills, interests, and experience might be required. I guarantee accurate work, a professional attitude, and deadline commitment.

I have worked in several art institutions, such as the Royal Academy of Arts, in the collections library and archive department. My main role was to assist visitors and research obscure artists. Lately, I have worked for a contemporary artist as her archivist. The software I have used is called Artwork Archive. I am familiar with art logic as well.

I have an MA in art history with honours that I gained at the Sorbonne University in Paris. My thesis was on Surrealism and Eskimo Art from Alaska.
