Left the Army in 2010 to pursue a career in the arts, graduating with a First Class BA (HONS) in Illustration.
Karl mostly illustrates maps for organisations and produces images for books, living in Wales with a Yogi and his son. He runs a community garden, is a Forest School Leader and likes these things:
Walking the dog - Books - Being in the woods - Sci-Fi movies - Woodlore - Megalithic studies - Pre Roman history of the British Isles - Music - Eating less bad food than last week & Drawing... lots of drawing.

As an illustrator I have worked extensively for thirteen years, providing images for a wide variety of clients. These include:
The World Wide Fund For Nature, The National Trust, The Green Man Festival, The Good Life Experience Festival (and other projects led by Sir Charles Gladstone), Oxbridge Universities, Chronicle Books (USA), Beacon Press (NZ), Tower Bridge Books (UK)… and others.

After seven years in the Armed Forces I went on to study Illustration, graduating in 2013.
As a professional (Freelance) illustrator I have worked under contract for a large charitable organisation for three years, have provided multiple illustrated maps for a variety of companies and organisations internationally and have worked on a number of books for both adults and children.
