Kate Halliday

I have work experience working for Cassava Republic Press with an editorial internship where I would be in charge of submissions and deciding what would happen to each applicant.

I worked for Cassava Republic Press as an Internship in editorial. I collaborated with the assistant editor and engaged in regular meeting and maintained effective communication regarding ongoing projects. I assisted in editing and evaluating unpublished manuscripts, preparing comphrensive reports for management review.

I also conducted market research to identify emerging and trending literary categories. I also previously had another editorial internship at my local newspaper.I also currently work as a campus manager for Intravelr where I demonstrate exceptional interviewing skills by conducting over 100 interviews for various roles. I previously worked as a summer camp counsellor where I thrived in a high-pressured environment and made crucial judgment calls to ensure the safety of the campers.

I have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English from the University of Leicester where I was awarded a 2:1 in July 2023.
