Kate Ridge

I am punctual, organised and motivated to do a good job. I deliver on deadlines, often early, giving time to assist others if necessary.

I can communicate effectively and clearly. I have worked with a range of people, both in age and background.

In a past roles, I have used my interpersonal skills to encourage a team to perform to their strengths and help them gain confidence where they do not feel able to do so.

This past summer i have travelled to the US, to work as a Music and Drama teacher at a summer camp for people with disabilities.(which i thoroughly enjoyed) This has allowed me to grow as a person and gain a thorough understanding of equal opportunities, equality and diversity, and do not see any barriers to using this in any role.

Since the age of 17, i have worked in a range of bars and pub/restaurants, learning to efficiently communicate with customers, take orders use a wide range of till systems and pour beverages to a high standard.

I am always happy to further my knowledge and welcome the opportunity to train and learn new skills.

I have worked in hospitality on and off for since 2019, bartending in England and Europe.

Ive recently returned from an America summer camp for adults with disabilities, working as the music and drama activity leader, where i designed and delivered my own program and provided personal support for the guests.

I have studied allergy awareness food and hygiene, legal restrictions and regulations of working behind a bar, first aid, safeguarding and safety care courses throughout as many years as I've been working.
