Art and Design Tutor
Over the past 20 years, I have worked as a designer and sculptor. During this time, I have designed and delivered classes to adults and children specializing in drawing, painting, lino printing, felting, hat making, clay and metal sculpture. I also hold a current enhanced DBS.
After graduating, I ran my own millinery business for many years and taught art and design classes and workshops to children and adults for the Local Education Authority in South Somerset
After moving to Australia, I continued to deliver creative classes for the WEA in the Illawarra and the Wollongong City Art Gallery. In addition to my art/design classes, I held many private and joint exhibitions locally and in Sydney.
After returning to the UK, I continued delivering creative workshops and courses for leisure, some of which underpin the KS2 curriculum.
I graduated in 1995 from The University of Plymouth with a BA (Hons) in Textile Design/Surface Pattern.
