After SK;N closed, I was very fortunate to find a new wonderful aesthetic clinic just around the corner from me. After getting hired my boss has now introduced laser hair removal with Alex & YAG technology, IPL for pigmentation and blood vessels, thread vein removal and cryotherapy into the clinic, all treatments I specialised in. I now work here part time and I love it, currently being the only staff member responsible for all skin and laser treatments.

Skin Practitioner - Sk:n - Milton Keynes
(2022-08 - 2024-02)
I started working at the SKN clinic in August 2022. Whilst working at the clinic I have been trained in Laser Hair Removal, Hydrafacials & Enerpeel Chemical Skin Peels. I have really enjoyed being trained in more advanced treatments and have a real passion for anything skin related. Unfortunately, SK;N as a company suddenly and shockingly went under due to finances and a lot of their branches closed down as / or let staff go.
Spa Therapist at Y-Spa / Receptionist - Wyboston Lakes - Wyboston Lakes
(2021-07)
In July 2021, I was offered my Spa Therapist Role back at the Y-Spa which I was delighted to take on after working the care job for nearly a year. Unfortunately the Spa has reopened with limited treatments being offered and limited opening hours. I then stayed with the same company but moved departments into the reservations department, where there were a lot more hours available for me to work, whilst still being part of the Wyboston team.
Whilst working this job it has made me realise how much I truly love beauty therapy and carrying out treatments, therefore I feel it is the right time to progress my Beauty Therapy Career elsewhere and continue on my personal development.
Digital Marketing - Self Employment
(2026-01 - 2026-06)
At the beginning of 2026 I did some personal development and did a CPD credited digital marketing course. I have always had an interest in this and wanted to explore a new avenue of work after over a decade of mainly being in the beauty industry.
A Community Care Assistant - Bluebird Care Bedford - Bedford

Throughout lockdown I worked for Bluebird Care Bedford as a Community Care Assistant. I did really enjoy this job particularly getting to meet the lovely people. I will always be extremely grateful for the opportunity to have worked this job, but my true passion is Beauty Therapy.
A Spa Therapist and Spa Receptionist - Wyboston Lakes - Wyboston Lakes
(2019-06 - 2020-08)
I worked at the Y-Spa full time. I really loved the job! From carrying out the treatments to also being trained and working on the Spa Reception where I would greet and check in guests for their day. I loved working as a team and supporting one and other everyday. Working at the Y-Spa helped me become more efficient, pro-active and more confident within the team. My product knowledge and therefore sales skills improved also. However, this job ended, due to Covid-19.
Early Years Practitioner - Busy Bees Sandy
(2019-06 - 2019-10)
Whilst I started working at the Spa also in June, they only had weekend work available. Therefore, alongside this, I went back to my previous passion which was child-care. I worked alongside one other women in the baby room unit (0-1 years) for 5 months. The Spa then offered me a full-time position starting in the October. I left the nursery on good terms and they were incredibly understanding about me pursuing my Beauty Therapy career.
A Beauty Therapist - Champneys Henlow
(2019-01 - 2019-05)
I started working just Saturdays at Champneys in Henlow. However, after a few months I decided to leave this Spa and start my more fulfilled journey at Y-Spa at Wyboston Lakes as it was a lot more suited to my skills and personality.
Work Experience - Champneys

A Nursery Nurse - Merry Poppets Day Nursery

Waitress / Bar Staff - The Kings Arms Cardington
(2017-09 - 2018-01)
I began working part time at the Kings Arms Cardington the same time I started my college course; I choose to do the part time college course as I still have financial responsibilities so had to still work alongside learning a new career. Unfortunately, the unsociable hours I was working at the Kings Arms, and weekend commitments with college, were starting to prove difficult to juggle, so I left the Kings Arms and returned to Merry Poppets Day Nursery as a Nursery Nurse, just two days a week.
Nursery Nurse - Merry Poppets Day Nursery
(2015-04 - 2017-08)
I started this position as a room leader of the baby room, and very quickly bonded well with both the children and the other members of staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent at Merry Poppets Nursery, and after about a year I was offered a job as Deputy Manager at one of the other nursery's the company owned. However as my passion was working alongside the children in the rooms and not to be over seeing the nursery as a whole, I politely declined the offer.
It was then when I realized it was time for me to go down a different path and I left to start a career change. I started attending Champneys Beauty College in Tring in September 2017.
Nursery Nurse - Tudor Court Day Nursery

After a year working at the nursery as a level 3 qualified nursery nurse, I was promoted to the room leader of the baby room.
