After my degree, I decided I would pursue my passion for wildlife and horticulture by working part time and taking part in many volunteer opportunities in botany and wildlife conservation. I am currently completely my Level 2 Horticultural apprenticeship qualification, and I am working towards a distinction grade. My apprenticeship has allowed me to develop my knowledge and skills set to this point in horticulture, but I am eager to develop my career to this next step.

Horticultural Apprentice at Coventry University. Within the past two years I have undertaken a college course to obtain my Level 2 Qualification in Horticulture and work almost side the gardening team at the university.
I attend a Level 2 college course at SMB College, where I have a developed a good understanding of soil science, plant identification, pest and diseases and their controls, methods of propagation and health and safety legislation and procedures.
