Kaur Karamjit

It's Kaur Karamjit, that's me. At the moment, I am a dedicated English teacher, doing my education at Brunel University in London. I'm a student in the PGCE program. My primary subject of study in the secondary field is English.

I have gained a variety of experiences over my work as a trainee teacher, which has allowed me to appreciate the importance of everyone having access to education. To develop as a qualified teacher, I am currently completing my PGCE and gaining a QTS with two years of teaching English. I have also shown continuous professional development and subject knowledge in conjunction with the National Curriculum. This has allowed me to understand the requirements of the Secondary Stage Curriculum and National Curriculum. I have also been able to show a breadth of evidence of successful teaching across the relevant age and ability ranges. For example, back in Hong Kong, I have taught in a variety of alternative settings to students of all ages, including secondary school students in private tutoring, children in learning centers, and children in primary schools. Furthermore, I have been able to effectively meet the individual needs of all pupils through different learning strategies, such as assessment for learning techniques and how to set out seating plans, so students can work well with others around them.

At the City University of Hong Kong, I earned a bachelor's degree in English for global corporate communication. At Brunel University in London, I am currently doing my PGCE in English for Secondary Education.
