As a support worker in the community my duties were letting myself in my clients homes, waking them up for the day, showering them, changing leg bags and more personal care. I prepared meals for my clients and observed them with their medication. I made sure that I wore full ppe and made sure my clients were safe and happy during my working hours.
Each client had a personal folder which we filled out after every visit and a medication form. I done training online since the company was taken over.

Main roles were, working at functions helping set up tables, chairs, place settings and Centre pieces for both day and night guests arriving.

I last worked for one parent family Scotland as a sessional EYR I was doing crèches, home sits and working in the day care. I was mostly working in the day care and home sits taking children to and from nursery/school and working with children in the after school club. In the day care I was working with children aged from 0-5, setting the children's needs daily and making sure they were in a clean and safe environment.
Making snacks for the children, carrying out different activities for the children and making sure to include the children in choice making. I also built strong relationships with the parents.
Trainee at Little People Nursery (2014-11 – 2016-08)
When I was at Little People I done my SVQ 3 SOCIAL SERVICES (CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE) SCOF LEVEL 7 for most of my time that I was there. I worked mostly with 0-2 in the baby room and tiny tots room also learning pre-birth to three and curriculum for excellence. My duties there included making sure the children are being cared for and helping them reaching all development milestones arid targets.
Planning and setting up stimulating activities for the children that they will enjoy and learn from. Giving the children experiences that suit the child's needs and preferences. Administrating medicine, filing out medication forms, accident report forms and daily paper work.
I also helped with snack and making lunches when required. I have experience within all four rooms from birth to preschool and really enjoyed them all; I also have experience doing children's learning logs, making sure the observations that I am doing are all correct and making sure the learning logs are up to date, doing daily risk assessments and talking to parents daily keeping them up to date with anything happening in the nursery. Also while working at Little People I was in charge of doing weekly plans, evaluating and doing monthly trips like museum, beach parks, Zoo, cinema etc.
Also when I had my own key children I done parents evening's to let parents know how the child was getting on at nursery and I built really good relationships with the parent's.
Work Experience at Arkive Clothing (2013-01 – 2013-12)
At my work experience at Arkive Clothing I was interacting with customers, building up my communication skills. I would maintain the shop floor and make sure it was a clean and safe environment for the customers and the staff. I would help customers and sort out stock on the shop floor. I worked in the stock room sorting out new stock coming in.
Work Experience at Aberfoyle Too Nursery
I was at Aberfoyle Too Nursery on work experience for 3 months. While I was at the nursery I was working on interacting with the children, sorting out daily activities for the children including the children's needs. I was helping with snacks and lunches getting the children involved.
Other tasks involved, cleaning play areas, kitchen areas and making sure the environment was safe. I was going on weekly trips with the children to the beach and park areas. While I was at Aberfoyle Nursery I was also getting to interact with the parents building relationships and my confidence.
