I am genuinely passionate about supporting older adults and helping them live with dignity, comfort, and happiness.

I have always been a patient, kind, and respectful person—qualities I believe are the foundation of good care. Whether I’m helping with daily tasks like personal care, meals, or mobility, or simply having a conversation or joining in activities, I always listen carefully and treat every resident as an individual with their own preferences and life story.

I have plenty of experience in care work, and I hold I understand the importance of following care plans, maintaining safety and hygiene standards, and working well as part of a team.

What draws me most to working in a care home is being able to make a real difference every day—bringing a smile to someone’s face, offering reassurance, or helping them feel safe and valued. I am punctual, hardworking, and committed to providing the best possible support to residents and their families

• Personal care support: Assisted patients with washing, dressing, grooming, using the toilet, and maintaining dignity and privacy at all times — skills directly used in care homes.
• Mobility & safety: Helped patients move safely around wards, use walking aids, get in/out of bed/chairs, and followed manual handling procedures to prevent injury to myself and others.
• Daily living support: Served and assisted with meals and drinks, monitored food and fluid intake, and supported patients with their nutritional needs.
• Observation & reporting: Took and recorded vital signs — temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration, and oxygen levels — and reported any changes in condition, mood, or behaviour to nurses immediately.
• Record keeping: Completed accurate, clear care notes and documentation in line with hospital policies and confidentiality rules.
• Hygiene & infection control: Strictly followed hand hygiene, PPE use, cleaning standards, and waste disposal to prevent the spread of infection — very important in care homes too.
• Emotional support & communication: Spoke with patients and their families, listened to concerns, offered reassurance, and treated everyone with respect and kindness, even during busy shifts.
• Teamwork: Worked closely with nurses, doctors, therapists, and other support staff to ensure patients received consistent, safe care.
• Environment care: Helped keep beds, rooms, and communal areas clean, tidy, and comfortable for patients.

I have had a lot of training this includes hoisting, CPR, pat sliding, moving and handling equipment
