Hello! My name is Keeran and I am a student currently studying Physics at Imperial College London. I am open to tutor either Maths or Physics, having had 2 years of experience in tutoring part-time, both to classes and to individuals; I thoroughly enjoy tutoring as I love encouraging and helping my students to achieve grades or improve their academic abilities beyond their expectations.

I have sat International Baccalaureate DP exams (44/45, with Grade 7 is HL Maths AA and HL Physics, and an A in my Physics Extended Essay) and GCSE exams (achieved all grade 9s - including Maths, Further Maths and Physics) in the UK.

• Tutored maths independently to a child with autism, separate from the main class. Built a supportive relationship with the student, communicating clearly and using a variety of teaching methods to combat difficulty focusing; this resulted in a fast increase in his maths test scores through 2021.
• Escorted each class of children in and out of the building, providing refreshments throughout each lesson. Marked homework from each class with a team of coworkers; required efficient teamwork and attention to detail, ensuring every parent received their child’s marks and feedback on time.

Volunteering - Teaching art to the local community

Raynes Park, London (UK) | Sept.2021 – Apr. 2022

• Taught art to the elderly in Raynes Park library every Friday afternoon. Attendees were provided with all the equipment needed to practice the different art styles being taught each week.
• Advertised the activity online and through posters, resulting in a higher number of attendees as the course progressed, and a much higher quality of artwork from those partaking regularly. My co-runner and I received highly positive feedback from numerous attendees.
