- Strip down, rebuild, tolerance checks, fault finding, removal/reinstallation of rotating machinery, fin fans, coolers, reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, reciprocating and centrifugal pumps, both end suction and between bearings, steam turbine, gas turbine and diesel engines.
- Strip down, rebuild, tolerance checks, fault finding, removal/reinstallation of static plant, vessels, separators, piping, valves, heat exchangers (shell and tube, plate type exchangers)
- TAR and shutdown work scopes, overseeing and writing a detailed handover.
Senior Machinist Technician - Saudi Aramco - Jizan, Saudi Arabia

- Senior Machinist Technician, in MSSD mechanical workshop, transitioning from Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) site to fully operational refinery and hydrocarbon plants.
- Installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning of all forms of rotating machinery Jazan Refinery and IGCC in Jizan, preparing for start-up.

- Preventative maintenance, day to day routines, (oil samples, oil changes, pumps and fin fans) condition monitoring/vibration analysis on pumps, turbines, compressors, lifeboats and cranes.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Creating permits and implementing isolations for upcoming tasks in ISSOW.
- Actively participate in STOP/STEP safety reporting, promoting and encouraging team safety.
- Operate/start-up/shutdown plant in line with operating procedures, ensuring continuous safe operation of all equipment, by proactively responding to issues and by on-site monitoring of process and operating conditions.
- Perform routine operational tasks including integrity watch, sampling and analysis, inspection/auditing.
- Comply with company environmental policies and procedures, actively promote environmental awareness.
- Designing/applying/removing and auditing of Isolations to industry best practice (Isolating authority)
- Chemical decanting/dosing, procedure reviews and updates, safety, and production audits.
- Preparing equipment and plant for maintenance, purging vessels and pipelines, and proving isolations.
- Gas testing worksites before planned maintenance work, including confined space entry.

- Four-year BP apprenticeship complete in as a mechanical technician.
- Gained experience with Rotating Machinery/Static plant.
