I am currently employed at Cranswick PLC as a Factory Technical Manager.
I have Level 4 Food Safety, Level HACCP, Lead Auditor, IOSHH, Level 3 Training, Food Defence - TACCP / VACCP.
Spearheaded the Food Safety Culture and KPI performance for the site.
Chaired HACCP/TACCP teams ensuring compliance with Codex principles and best practices, both externally and within the group.
Led the Food Safety Quality Culture Team to enhance site-wide understanding and implementation of food safety standards, promoting team input.
Conducted site audits per Cranswick Manufacturing Standards, using results to drive conformance.
Facilitated and, where necessary, led 3rd party and customer visits, maintaining site readiness for audits and site results of Green, good and AA* for a range of audits both trade association and retailer.
Participated in process design, validation, and implementation of additional system requirements.
Collaborated with Operations and Technical teams to reduce complaints and non-conformances, driving improvements.
Reviewed and updated company procedures and systems in alignment with 3rd party standards and Retailer Codes of Practice.
Deputized for the Technical Manager in their absence, attending site, divisional, and customer meetings, and producing KPI data.
Ensured corrective actions, root cause analyses, and preventive actions were implemented by area managers/supervisors within agreed standards.
Maintained compliance with the Cranswick Manufacturing Standard, BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, and Retailer Codes of Practice.
Provided management, direction, and development for the team, ensuring motivation, and workload management.
