I am a very self-motivated person that likes to be busy all the time. I have excellent time management which is also complimented with excellent problem-solving skills. I am a reliable and trustworthy worker that can be and have been trusted with money handling and greeting customers face to face offering pleasant and professional customer service.
Working in teams and on my own is not a problem for me, because I am an extremely easy person to get on with and always like to meet fresh faces, but also can work at my own institute.

Since I started at Asda as a delivery driver, I have progressed into the role of team leader, where I oversee 20 to 30 people every day. My leading role is to make sure the day-to-day running of the department goes smoothly and productively. I also have the responsibility of making sure the vans are roadworthy by arranging servicing and repairs, but also making sure the department has enough vans to run the day and night shifts.
I was recently ask by the store manager if I would step up when the department manager is on holiday or absent which I agree to, this role is very demanding as I also have my duties to carry out to as well, but I do like a challenge and was pleased I was asked to do this.

In this role I was responsible for leading a team of four, sometimes more, to make sure that all the customers are served with food and beverages that they ordered and make sure that they have the best customer experience possible to boost the business for the future. My main roles were to prepare tables before the start of functions, including silver service, making sure everything runs smoothly throughout the service, bar attending, money handling, controlling of staff during these times and making sure that everyone leaves safely.

My leading role was a multi drop delivery driver, driving a long wheelbase Iveco van all around Lincolnshire, covering all area's including Lincoln, Boston, Horncastle, and all down the Lincolnshire coastline, delivering UPVC materials for a window company to customers and new build sites. I was responsible for taking payment for these materials by Transax. Deliveries varied between 15 and 20 drops all around Lincolnshire.
I was responsible for the materials that were on my delivery and made sure that all the materials that I had to deliver were all on my vehicle.

As a general operator, I was using all types of machinery in the process of packing frozen food. I worked on a shift pattern, and sometimes I would be working 12 hours per shift. Early starts and late finishes were required in this role.

While working for KP Factors, I picked up many skills like taking orders from customers over the phone and dealing with their enquiries in person. At busy times in the business, I was responsible for picking orders and checking them off, making sure they were all on the correct vans for delivery. My delivery route changed daily and took me all around the Lincolnshire area and sometimes even further afield for some special deliveries.
I had the responsibility of collecting money from customers to cover the invoice amount of also collecting amount cheques monthly.
