Having worked at the highly reputable, multi-national consumer goods company Reckitt Benckiser, I have gained invaluable experience managing a variety of OTC brands including Nurofen & Gavison with roles that stretch across brand activation, equity, innovation & media strategy across UK, EU & ANZ. I’ve been responsible for leading and managing OTC pharmaceutical brands, creating & activating annual marketing plans with close collaboration with a cross functional team.
Directly managing and mentoring a team has allowed me to develop leadership managerial and delegation skills. The experience has been rewarding, challenging and I’m pleased to say a success as they have reached their objectives.
I am currently employed as Senior Brand Manager on Gaviscon for Reckitt.
As Senior Brand Manager, I have acquired skills in Equity, Innovation and Activation across Europe, Australia and the UK / IRE. My main roles include leading go-to-market launch recommendation for innovation, managing the P&L at a UK level (the lead market) and leading the activation in UK and providing consultation for the other markets. Y1 one performance has been a success, the key 4 markets which launched first reached their set in-markets KPIs (Distribution, ROS & share of market) and based on this success is being rolling out Globally.
This project started with the consumer and involved rigorous evaluation of data to uncover key insights, creating a situation analysis tailored to the relevant markets, 3Y strategy & P&L and I developed the launch recommendation and activation plan for the relevant markets.
I have also gained extensive experience in creating leading Global comms & equity campaigns. My experience has afforded me the opportunity to learn from leading Creative & media agencies, bringing to life key uncovered insights through campaigns that drive growth for the brand and providing against the needs and wants of consumers.
