- Ensure that all items are appropriately packaged in accordance with Safe and Secure Handling of Medicines
- Undertake the over-label/ pre-packing of medicines following departmental procedures

- Clerical processing of delivery notes in accordance with local procedures
- Receipt goods at delivery point, ensuring stock is correct and is fit for purpose, and all documentation is endorsed and stored appropriately ensuring effective stock rotation
- Liaise with suppliers regarding returnable items, damaged goods and queries as required
- Process the requisitions for controlled drugs through the Pharmacy stock control system e.g. Ascribe
- To replenish sundry items (bottles, skillets, nebuliser items etc) and order replacement stock as required
- Deliver products to wards/departments as appropriate
- To assemble components for the preparation of medicinal products, ensuring they are of a suitable quality and quantity
- To prepare products in accordance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, COSHH, Good Distribution Practice, Good Clinical Practice, Health & Safety directives, and procedures, and following completion of an appropriate training programme
- General housekeeping

Working within a challenging role and having to carry out various diverse duties. Ultimately my role was responding to calls and requests from the public.
