My name is Kent Needham and I am a visual designer. I have extensive experience in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma and a history of working in both marketing and sales. I am a highly creative individual who is passionate about my work, and I work hard to achieve the highest possible standards.

In addition to my professional work, I have previously worked as a teacher in Asia, giving me additional skills in communication and problem solving. I am well-rounded and sociable, making me a great asset to any team. I am confident that my skills and experience make me a perfect fit for the role and I am excited to discuss my application in more detail.

My professional experience has been varied and has allowed me to develop my skills as a visual designer. I have worked as a freelance designer for Isizwe, a company that works in installing fibre throughout South Africa. I have also worked in sales and marketing for Solasafe, where I gained valuable experience in creating user-friendly content and visuals while also working directly with consumers.

My professional career began when I was an overseas art and drama teacher, giving me the opportunity to use my creative skills in new and innovative ways. All of these experiences have shaped my development as a visual designer and I am now confident that I can deliver high-quality work.

I recently completed my education with an undergraduate in Visual Studies and a post graduate in Marketing and Communications. I studied Visual Studies at the University of Pretoria, where I specialized in the history and theory of visual research. Subsequently, I completed a post-graduate in Marketing and Communications at VEGA.

This course focused on marketing principles and the application of marketing, communications and public relations theories. It also included an internship, which provided me with valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to apply my theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. I am equipped with the skills and knowledge to pursue a successful career in the creative, marketing and communications industries.
