I am a qualified hairdresser and salon owner for 15 years, (daughter managers salon for me ) with extensive experience in cutting, colouring, and styling, as well as mentoring apprentices and junior staff. Alongside my industry expertise, I have completed a Certificate in Education and am currently working towards the CAVA qualification, allowing me to combine my passion for hairdressing with my teaching practice. I have delivered engaging lessons during my teaching placement at St Helens College and gained further transferable skills through my role as a specialist support worker in children’s residential care, where I developed strong communication, behaviour management, and learner support strategies.

· CAVA (Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement) – In progress, developing assessment and quality assurance skills.
