Ketsukhon Bond

my name is ketsukhon Bond , And I a carer experience more than 10 years , and previously I had work at the care home But recently I working at Salisbury hospital . And My duty at the hospital is to helping out Nursing .

Checking patients . For example like check they blood sugar, check they observation, check they skin bundle, to make sure all your patients is ok . And also in the night time if the patient on bed rest then we have to change their pad , Because we make sure they’re skin is not sore .And Checking any Bruises skin or not .

And also turn them every 2 hours or 4 hours . is depend on the resident skin type. And then we have to filling Paperwork’s for the patient each person . Then keep on eyes them in the night time . And if any concern we have to tell the Nurse in charge then the Nurse will call the doctor to come to look at the patient who is unwell .

Then the doctor will have discussed each other with the nurse .

And we always to make sure the patient is safe , and make sure they are ok . This is for the night duty for me . And the day duty is you not much different than Night duty . In the day time we have to start give them a breakfast first. And then give the patient a nice wash and clean . Also check their ski bundle,

check patient blood sugar, observation, and some patient if they want to up the bed then we have to hoists them up sit on the chair . ( if they can’t walk ) . Or some patients we have to use standing aids.

But some patients if they’re confused then we need to keep on eyes them to make sure they not fall .

And again patients who is on bed rest we need to check and give them a pad change when they are wet or dirty. Then give them lunch and dinner . Also any concerns then we need to inform to the nurse in charge. Then the nurse will call the doctor. And we also work like a team work . Nurse , carer , and doctor.

And also I have a lots of training from Salisbury hospital to offer . And well paid and well look after you .

And also I still looking for to study a nurse in the future.

NVQ 2 , and NVQ 3 diploma, and also I have completed my carer certificate at the care home ( Geace well Salisbury manor )
