For several years I have been contracting to various sites through numerous employers as a contractor, employed as a welder working as part as team as well as working on my own initiative and reading from engineering drawings. I have attained a broad variety of skills relevant to an onsite welder as well as relevant workshop experience and I am fully conversant using various machines. I am very hard working, enthusiastic, honest, adaptable and keen to learn new practices and use different materials.

Steel, Royal Mail, J&M Engineering in Scunthorpe, AM E&C Ltd in Immingham, Manpower/GI Group on Immingham dock, Costains at LOR, Lenzing Fibres, Claydens Engineering, Allied Proteck, Anglia Engineering, Costains, Lincs Iron Masters, Freightliner UK at Immingham Bulk Terminal, Holme Steel (TATA), Interserve on Phillips 66, Jacobs, LES on site and in workshop, West Burton Power Station and Temp-Team on TATA Steel, Scunthorpe. Employed as a welder in all positions except Interserve/Costains (Hole watcher) and Immingham dock – driver, Postman. Plater/Welder/Burner.

I also worked for Hodson and Kaus, Clarke & Co and DCF on Conoco and Shell oil refineries, TATA Steel and fabrication workshops and Conoco power station installing Buzz Bars (DCF).
