Hi,

I, Khan Mohammad Abu Imam completed my graduation in chemistry and post-graduation in organic chemistry from one of the reputed university Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. During my studies, I received a scholarship from college and university in recognition of merit and performance.

During my employment at different companies, I have refined skills in chemical analysis in different stages and final, raw material sampling & testing, finished goods in-process checking & testing, stability sample analysis, analytical method development & validation, and water testing according to standard operating procedures. Most of the analytical methods are used in wet chemistry. Knowledge of good laboratory practice and the operation of pharmaceuticals quality control laboratory instruments e.g., HPLC, GC, LCMS, UV-Vis, FTIR, Dissolution, etc.

I have practically experienced calibration like HPLC, pH meter, glassware, and daily accuracy check of balances. Practical knowledge of HPLC troubleshooting & maintenance. Familiar with Empower, Openlab and Chemstation software.

Documentation as per GMP, SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), STP (Standard Test Procedure), EOP (Equipment Operating Procedure), Proper knowledge of OOS (Out-of-Specification), Annual Product Review, OOT (Out-of-Trend), CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), and time management. ICH guidelines for Analytical method validation, Stability Sample planning & analysis, and preparation of CTD (Common Technical Document). Communicated with suppliers, supply chain, or procurement department to smooth the operation of the laboratory.

I enjoy the challenge of keeping detailed records and always following a meticulous pattern to achieve the most accurate results.

I am a volunteer at the British Red Cross. I am a customer service volunteer. Receive customer calls, handle incoming customers in the British Red Cross center, equipment in and out of stock in the warehouse, equipment assembling as and when required, and equipment cleaning as and when required.
