My job role consisted of serving customers and making up orders, changing oil in the fryers, checking and maintaining stock levels, making sure all areas of the shop were clean at all times, especially the serving and eating areas - all of which ensured a smooth-running shift. I also had the responsibility of operating tills, processing payments and handling cash with zero discrepancies or errors.
