Credit and Collections Analyst – July 2020 to present

• Analysed databases and tracked customer payment behaviour to determine whether customer should be placed on Credit Hold.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate trackers of accounts on Credit Hold and liaising with billing and sales departments regarding Credit Holds.
• Monitoring build-up of unapplied payments and credit notes and creating mail merge letters to be sent to customers of proposed allocations.
• Reviewed performance benchmarks of collections call agents and established metrics for future tracking for senior management.
• Analysed customer data such as financial statements to determine level of risk involved for extending credit.
• Created adhoc reports and spreadsheets for senior management as and when required.
• Using Excel on a daily basis updating reports
• Continuously maintain up to date knowledge of regulatory and corporate policy.
• As NCO is an outsourcing business, ensuring sometimes tight deadlines are met to meet the expectations of our clients.
