I am a NFTS trained filmmaker with multiple completed short films and web projects. I have worked pre-production, production, and postproduction, in which I have worked the roles of Director, Cinematographer, Actor, Writer, and Editor. I am looking to start my industry career, and I would like to apply my skills, production experience and story instincts to a creative team while also continuing to develop my own projects as a Writer and Creator.

Teachers' Assistant - HENDON SCHOOL - London

I work at schools helping and supporting children with SEN (special educational needs) through this I have to guide the children that need support to make sure they feel secure and supported by all the staff and also feel comfortable in class and at school, which is something they could find heavily difficult due to SEN. I had to be patient, discipline, while also being flexible, as many things could change or not organised correctly, which could create issues with the children, so I have to make sure the children understand what was is on and that they feel comfortable in the transition.

Shadow Income Officer - Income Rent Recovery - London

I have shadowed an Income Officer to court to see how rent arrears cases are taken to court and the grounds use for action to be taken. I have observed the amount of support given to residents who are having trouble paying their rent and the action taken for those who do not pay their rent. I have been gone with an officer when full possession has been granted, and they have had to attend an eviction with bailiff present.

I have been learning the processes that have to be carried out in line with the rent pre-action protocol. I am also familiarising myself with the many services available to people in the community for them to access further aid because I recognise how important it is to provide support to encourage payment of rent.
