Care Assistant at WHISTON HALL CARE HOME (2024-05 – Present)

Care assistant looking after the elderly, seeing to each individuals needs. I have worked both days and nights with in care. My role as a care assistant on nights also involved cleaning. Responsible for all cleaning in the home on a night shift in and around bedrooms and communal areas including bathroom's.

• Emptying all the bins
• dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up large objects off the floor, deep cleaning wheelchair and spot cleaning glass and windows
• Making the beds with clean linen, cleaning the skirting boards, light switches and door nobs to prevent spread of bacteria before and during covid

Domestic Cleaner at NHS Professionals (2022-12 – 2024-05)

Domestic services assistants keep wards offices and public areas clean and tidy. They do routine daily and weekly cleaning as well as responding to emergency spills. Housekeepers work as part of the ward team, making sure that patients have a pleasant, safe stay in hospital.

Being a support worker was a challenging job at deanbrook with challenging behaviour but also I very rewarding job. I have worked both days and nights..
