I currently work in a nursery as a kitchen porter, where I am responsible for keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and fully stocked to ensure everything runs smoothly throughout the day. I maintain high standards of hygiene by regularly cleaning kitchen surfaces, equipment, and bathrooms, making sure the environment is safe and welcoming for both staff and children. I also assist with preparing food for the children when needed, following guidelines carefully to ensure meals are safe and suitable.

Alongside my kitchen duties, I build positive relationships with the children, interacting with them in a friendly and supportive manner. I work well with both the children and my colleagues, contributing to a caring and efficient team environment.

Working as a kitchen porter, I take pride in keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and fully stocked to ensure the team can work efficiently at all times. I work hard to maintain high standards of hygiene by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and washing dishes promptly, helping the kitchen run smoothly during busy periods. Alongside my cleaning and stocking responsibilities, I have also prepared desserts and made pizzas, carefully following recipes and presentation standards.

When I worked in retail, I was responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment for customers. I regularly cleaned shop floors, shelves, and displays to ensure the store always looked professional and well-presented. I also managed and replenished stock, making sure shelves were fully stocked, and products were arranged neatly and correctly.

Through this role, I developed strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
