Kirsty Olychick

I have worked in the whisky industry for the past 7 years with the past 5 years being in distilling, mashing and warehousing. I hope to continue my experience and gain more knowledge in this area.

I started in the whisky industry as a Cooper Apprentice but due to unforeseen circumstances in 2020 I moved away from that area. I then continued my whisky learning journey by moving into the distilling and mashing side of the business where I have been for almost 5 years. I have experience in both mashing and distilling as well as organizing and supervising a warehouse.

While at the first distillery I also learnt about dilutions, preventative maintenance and acquired numerous certificates to assist me in my position.

I completed my GCD (General Certificate in Distilling) in 2023
