Work experience (Unpaid) - Brookburn Primary School
(2011-05 - 2011-05)
I completed 2 weeks of work experience at Brookburn Primary School during May 2011 which had me located in the nursery. My role was to help with the children and play with them. I had to make sure that they completed any tasks that were given to them and that they all got along with each other. This role allowed me to improve my communication and team work skills.
Work experience (Unpaid) - Manchester Royal Infirmary
My role whilst working in the Manchester Royal Infirmary had me based in the children's restaurant. My role was to clean the area and make sure it was clean and tidy. I also had to get the stock replenished and I had to make sure the customers had what they needed, for example, highchairs and cutlery. By working in the Manchester Royal Infirmary, it allowed me to develop skills and it also allowed me to work in a team and get to meet a range of different people.
Staff - Pizza Hut
My role while working at Pizza hut is to make sure that the salad bar is filled up and the food is in the right container. I also have to organise the stock and make sure that the food goes in the correct place and I have to make sure that all the tables are clean and prepared for the customers. By working at Pizza Hut, it has enabled me to communicate more freely with customers and decipher their needs and intentions so they can enjoy having my services.
Cleaner - Bredbury Hall
My role while working at Bredbury hall was to clean the hotel rooms. This role allowed me to work as a team and individually. It allowed me to improve my knowledge and cleaning skills.
Cleaner - Essential hygiene - Wernerth school
My role while working for essential hygiene was to clean the classrooms. Working for essential hygiene has allowed me to expand my cleaning knowledge further, it also allowed me to work individually and as a team.
