At TL Leads Accountancy, the Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Manager by organising file systems, scheduling client appointments, and performing general data entry and reporting.
Key responsibilities include working with Microsoft Office spreadsheets to analyse income and payments from bank statements, reconciling bank balances with total payments and receipts in the books of accounts, and answering phone calls. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. During my time at UCL, I gained comprehensive insights into various services and their operational stages within the institution.
I navigated the service catalogue, shadowed an architect, and attended meetings. I explored security concepts like IAM, authorisation, and identity, both in cyber and physical contexts.I Attended meetings, toured data centre.Additionally, I shadowed the IPG help desk, learning about their ticketing system and task management. I expanded my understanding of security policies, firewalls, cloud computing, and network concepts like zero trust networks, VPNs, and latency versus bandwidth.
I also delved into architecture security, discussing asset value, risk levels, and information sensitivity.
In sixth form I studied Business, Forensic Science and Criminology, and Media Studies
