Experienced British National Curriculum Secondary School Maths Teacher of 5+ Years. I started teaching maths in 2017 with Teach First and my sole goal has been to ignite a love for mathematics in every single student. Each student deserves the right to a high-quality education, one in which they are immersed in a culture of hard work, endeavor and passion, regardless of prior attainment and household income.
My most recent GSCE group results included 50% achieving grade 9, 37.5% achieving grade 8 and 12.5% achieving grade 7. Taking on the roles of Head of Maths, Deputy Head of Maths, Teach First and NQT mentor, Head of Year and AS - level Maths teacher, has provided me with the right skillset and experience to provide pupils with an excellent academic education, allowing them to seize their greatness. I am always seeking to improve my practice, and as a result I am currently undertaking the National Professional Qualification for Leading Teaching.
