About
I am an organised and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. I approach tasks with a logical mindset and a practical, hands-on attitude, always driven to see work through to completion. I am reliable, safety-conscious, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
With over 12 years of experience in the hospitality sector, I have developed excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. In my previous role, I contributed to sustained business growth, increasing annual revenue by £250,000 over a five-year period, with total turnover reaching £1.7 million in 2025/26. I have experience managing teams of over 40 staff, implementing health and safety procedures, and ensuring compliance through risk assessments and clear communication.
Alongside my management experience, I have built a strong foundation in practical maintenance. I have hands-on experience in property upkeep, general repairs, and working with mechanical equipment, as well as coordinating and supporting external contractors. I am confident in identifying faults, troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective solutions.
Having grown up in rural New Zealand, I have a natural affinity for working outdoors and in physically demanding environments. I am now seeking to transition from Hospitality into a more practical and hands-on industry. I feel that the Assistant Driller/Laborer role would be well suited to my skills and work ethic.
I am eager to apply my practical skills, strong safety awareness, and problem-solving ability. I am highly motivated to learn, develop technical expertise, and build a long-term career within the industry.
