Originally from Myanmar, I moved to Belfast in 2018 to pursue architectural education.
Growing up in a Southeast Asian country with poorly designed infrastructure, it was always visible to me from a young age that architecture plays a significant role for the living environment. This realization along with my interest in drawing motivated me to study Architecture.
My interests in architecture include building technologies, sustainability, and social and spatial justice.
I participated in Belfast Cathedral Quarter Trust Summer School as a student volunteer, where we explored regenerative schemes for Belfast historic city centre and alternatives to current plans by the developer.
I also participated in My Neighborhood Summer School by UN Habitat Urban Lab as a student assistant, where students worked with young children from two divided communities in Northern Ireland to discuss urban spaces with potential to connect two seperated communities.
