Cleaning Operative at HIGHLAND COUNCIL (2025-01 – 2026-09)

Held positions of both Nursery Cleaning Operative and then moved onto the main school as Cleaning Operative. My role consists of two hours daily cleaning for the main school and two hours daily cleaning for Highlife Highland. Responsible for managing own workload to specified timescales. My area includes 6 classrooms, corridors and all toilets in the area.

• Sanitising desks, hoovering all classrooms, disposing of waste, restocking of supplies such as handsoap and paper towels
• Mopping of hard floor surfaces in classrooms and machining the corridors adhering to Health and Safety (COSHH) at all times
• Key holder for the building to carry out cleaning for Highlife Highland out of school hours, early morning and late evenings
• Responsible for ensuring building is left safe and all appliances and lights are switched off and windows and doors are securely locked in my areas

Cleaning Operative at Mitie (2021-08 – 2025-10)

Cleaning the Conon Bridge Coop store to a high standard 6 days per week. Knowledge of all chemicals used for cleaning including the use of floor cleaning machinery and maintenance of machinery. Working on own initiative daily to keep the store cleanliness maintained to a high standard.

Animal Care Assistant at CONANVET (2019-01 – 2021-07)

Responsibilities in caring for the animals, including holding animals for minor procedures, assisting with care of the animals and feeding and walking. My role also involves making sure the preparation and surgical areas are stocked up and kept clean and tidy, also ensuring surgical equipment are cleaned and repacked to a high standard ready for the next operations. I also partake in some lab duties including reading worm egg counts and running urine and blood samples.
