I began working in social housing over 12 years ago. I have worked in Rent Income for the majority of that but also worked in managerial position, I have loved working in Lettings, Tenancy sustainment and on tenancy fraud projects which I found extremely rewarding as I was very, very productive.
I have always had a kind, understanding yet persistent approach to the work I do. I am very good at communicating tenancy matters as well as sensitive matters relevant to the residents in their homes, as well as agencies, councils, mp’s and counsellors, upset complainants but also district judges (and occasionally circuit judges). I can explain every scenario in plain English but also understand all the legal grounds and terminology because I have undertaken legal training from two solicitors firms in housing law and have presented many, many cases in county courts over the years.
I have attended court user forums too.
I am passionate about the work I do. I feel I should work in tenancy fraud.
