I am pursuing an entry level job as a business analyst/consultant in the technology industry as I have always had a passion for technology and the course highlighted new interests. I wished to bridge the gap between a company's needs and a technological solution. I completed my dissertation on the topic "what is Robotic process automation and how does it support Digital transformation" meaning I have a mid-level understanding of process automation and robotic tools with a passion to deepen my knowledge and gain invaluable experience.
Some skills developed while perusing the course were:
Data cleaning, transferring, and uploading, using SQL databases.
Data analysis with tools such as power BI, and Qlik.
Writing task automation scripts with tools such as Microsoft Power Automate.
Familiar with User interface/User experience design, adobe xd
Some familiarity with App creation and web design in coding languages such as html, Python, and .NET.
Basic knowledge of process automation and RPA integration.
Essay writing to a high educational standard using Harvard referencing.
Contract writing in a professional manor, proposing a solution to a business e.g. Implementing an ERP.
Knowledge of GDPR policies and standards.
Bachelor of Science degree in business information technology at Birmingham city university. Classification of 2:2
