Early Years Practitioner at Little Learners Nursery (2023-10 – 2024-03)

I worked as an early years practitioner, applying my previous experience to support children's learning and development. I was assigned key children, allowing me to build strong relationships with their guardians and conduct weekly observations to monitor progress. I carefully documented each child's interests to plan activities that were both engaging and educational. Additionally, I completed a short course in food hygiene to ensure that snacks were prepared safely.

Early Years Practitioner at Howgill Family Centre (2023-01 – 2023-06)

I spent my time here for a college placement, where I worked with children aged 2–3. This was necessary for my training as I was given the opportunity to work with a different age group and learn how to communicate and promote development age appropriately. Here, I also learnt how to clean the setting at the end of the day, communicate with guardians, write professional observations, and assist with toileting.
