I’m Lacey, I’m a 22 year old first year Fashion Communication student studying at Liverpool John Moore’s University at the Mount Pleasant building. I work in retail along side my studies in order to keep myself motivated and refreshed in the industry in which I am interested in, to start a fashion based career in the next 3-4 years.

I recently hit my 1 year mark at my current job, and whilst I feel accomplished in the experience I have filled, new skills I have mastered and build interpersonal relationships and the way. I am ready for a new opportunity, I am eager to find a role that allows me to grow as a fashion communication student in order to have work/educational balance. My passion is Fashion as a whole, there is not one specific area that I find myself drawn to because even when my social media is bombarding me with fresh trends and influencers or when my text books are telling about how the economy is shattering more and more everyday due to landfill micro plastics or when a journalist is spilling the tea about Balenziaga campaigns, I am completely fascinated by either or regardless.
I believe fashion is my calling. I believe this because even when I’m stressed about my work load, I’ll close My laptop and open a magazine or Pinterest and challenge myself to find interesting concepts and ideas just because it’s fun.
