I am a GMC-registered doctor with over two years of experience working in the NHS, mainly in acute medicine and geriatrics, with additional experience in respiratory medicine, endocrinology, oncology and haematology. My clinical work has involved assessing patients with a wide range of physical and medical conditions, often in patients with several health problems at the same time. I have experience taking detailed histories, carrying out clinical assessments, reviewing medical information and documenting my findings clearly.

I have also worked with older patients where mobility, independence, cognition and general day-to-day functioning were important parts of the assessment and care planning process. During my career break, I worked remotely in a family business in an administrative role. This involved writing emails and reports, organising information, communicating with different people and managing tasks independently using computer-based systems.

I am now looking to return to a medical role where I can use my clinical experience in a different way. I am particularly interested in Functional Assessment because it combines medical knowledge, communication and assessment skills while allowing me to help people whose health conditions affect their everyday lives.
