Compassionate and reliable professional with over eight years' experience supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries and previous experience caring for older adults living with dementia. More recently I have successfully worked as a self-employed plumber, developing excellent communication, organisation, problem-solving and decision-making skills while working under pressure. Although plumbing has taught me many valuable transferable skills, it has also strengthened my patience, resilience and ability to think quickly while remaining calm and focused.
I am now looking to return to healthcare because caring for others has always been the most rewarding part of my career. My long-term ambition is to study for a degree and qualify as a midwife, and I am keen to continue building my experience within the healthcare sector.
