With over five years of experience in copywriting, Laura is a professional, fun and excitable freelance writer based in the UK. Cambridgeshire-based, Laura specialises in copy, marketing and eCommerce. From writing on-site copy for landing pages and engaging SEO-driven blogs to writing top-notch product descriptions and press releases; I can help you with it all.
My background is within the eCommerce and Content industries, primarily for fashion and lifestyle brands. I’ve worked previously as a Head of Content and then moved on to eCommerce Managing for a designer retailer where some of the brands that I worked with were Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Karl Largerfeld and more. This also included running a campaign for a Tommy x Zendaya launch and taking the company to London Fashion Week for further content.
With content, I’ve managed teams and personally created highly optimised blogs that have outranked Vogue on Google, written SEO-friendly category descriptions, landing pages, newsletters and more.
Alongside writing optimised product descriptions, I’ve also created eCommerce landing pages, print adverts, email campaigns and more, over numerous platforms. This year I've gone freelance and have been working with companies on their on-site copy, some of these brands being River Island and CAT Footwear. Recently I have also been assisting Signet Jewellers’ Digital Team in creating copy for both H Samuels and Ernest Jones
