My current role is customer service advisor/scheduler at a busy waste disposal/skip company. Here I am involved with most of the day to day running of a skip company, ensuring the office is run smoothly, organising the drivers transport schedule for the day and being at hand to deal with customer queries and complaints via telephone, email and in person; making sure that all issues are resolved effectively. I ensure that all administrative duties are in order daily, organising the waste returns, sending jobs over for invoicing, selling skips and booking on skip jobs via telephone and email, taking card and cash payments.
I am used to dealing with a high volume of calls on a daily basis and work well under pressure. I also have some knowledge of sage software and world pay as I cover creating and sending invoices when the accounts manager is on holiday/ill etc.

Audio Typist/trainee paralegal - personal injury dept. at Stephensons Solicitors (2003 – 2006)
I worked as an audio typist at Stephensons for around 2 and a half years, later being promoted to a trainee paralegal. My job as a typist involved working to targets each day, typing up letters etc for the solicitors, answering the phones and making sure the workload for the day was completed. Towards the end of my time at Stephensons I was promoted to a trainee paralegal, which is working directly for one solicitor, taking their calls, organising all their case loads. I enjoyed my time here.
