Nursery Practitioner - Safehands Nursery

Working within the Baby Room with children aged between 0-2 years.

• Coordinating and leading activities for the children including crafts, mark making, sensory experiences and outdoor play
• Ensuring a clean and tidy environment is maintained at all times
• Keeping up to date with all children's records and planning to help promote development
• Nappy changing and health care routines
• Communicate and promote good manners at all times, especially meal times

Nursery Practitioner - Little Brook Nursery

(2014-04 - 2017-11)

Currently working within the Toddler Room with children aged between 18 months and 3 years.

• Overseeing, maintaining and organising a clean, child friendly environment
• To plan and supervise activities such as reading, crafts, cooking and outdoor play
• Maintaining nursery plans and children's records to ensure all data is up to date from both a health & safety perspective, and keeping parents up to date on their development
• To supervise at meal times
• Nappy changing and potty/toilet training
• Teaching general life skills such as basic hygiene and manners
