Laura Featherstone

Experienced dental reception and administration professional with a strong background in patient care, treatment coordination and customer service. Having worked in both busy multi-surgery and smaller family-run dental practices, I understand the importance of providing patients with a welcoming, professional and reassuring experience from their first enquiry through to completion of treatment.

My dental career has included roles as Senior Receptionist, Customer Care Manager, Practice Administrator and Dental Nurse. I am confident managing staff, appointments and diaries, patient enquiries, recalls, treatment administration, payments and accounts, while working closely with clinicians and colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

I am approachable, highly organised and attentive to detail, with a calm and professional manner when dealing with patients and colleagues alike.

More recently, I spent over five years running my own bespoke business, developing strong skills in consultations, relationship building, sales, follow-up, scheduling and managing the complete customer journey. I am now looking to return to dentistry and bring together my previous dental experience with the customer service and business skills I have developed more recently, contributing to an excellent patient experience and making a positive contribution to the practice team.
