My main responsibility at this Events venue was to be the cleaner, so I am used to very physical work and am knowledgeable about the relevant products to use depending on the surface or flooring. I also cleared up after weddings and events and helped set up refreshments. I can clean dishwashers and can use industrial washing machines.

This job taught me perseverance and attention to detail and gave me a high level of satisfaction. I cleaned to a high standard and often took part in additional tasks like clearing dishes and glasses. I always maintained a discreet, professional but friendly attitude and got on with all the staff.

I decided to do some temporary work for the British Red Cross as a means of giving back after having so much help to get myself back on track health wise. I believe in their cause, especially in the harsh climate we live in and enjoyed serving customers on the till and preparing clothing for sale out the back.
