Started at Nationwide Building Society as a Fraud analyst, dealing refunds and recoveries. Daily tasks were to action merchant refunds that had been marked as fraud for members and deal with bonus recoveries trying to secure additional refunds for Nationwide. In January 2021 moved to the AML department working through cases and reporting to the NCA of concerns of money laundering.

This role is challenging and requires learning new skills everyday with extended knowledge of banking obligations and regulations, with continuous training to ensure knowledge is up to date of all types of Money Laundering. This is done by collating and analysing the customers banking information, transaction monitoring and the customer profile, clearly identifying reg flags and details to file a full report to the NCA with all necessary information.

Started as the Compliance Co-Ordinator and in 2015 moved into the project manager position. Responsible for the planning and delivering a range of multi-disciplinary projects, whilst earning trust and building key relationships within the business. Part of the project team for DWA (Dealer Web Access) a web based programme (EMCONEX) that worked with in-house software (ENRICH) which enabled the dealer to create and invoice jobs and allowed them to upload all compliance documentation into customer files to comply to VOSA and DVLA.
