Supporting young people isn’t just a job for me—it’s been my passion for over 30 years. I’ve dedicated my career to helping them navigate challenges, build resilience, and realise their potential, through outreach, education, or one-to-one mentoring.
As Manager at Streetvibe Young People’s Service, I’ve led teams through the ever-changing world of youth work, ensuring we reach those who need us most. I have developed trauma-informed approaches, built strong partnerships with funders, and created interventions that make a real difference in tackling anti-social behaviour. Most importantly, I’ve seen first-hand how the right support can change a young person’s life.
What drives me is the belief that every young person deserves to be heard, supported, and given the tools to thrive. I bring energy, creativity, and a solution-focused mindset to my work, always looking for ways to engage young people in a way that feels meaningful to them. I love developing teams too—mentoring staff, fostering leadership, and making sure we’re all working towards the same goal: creating lasting, positive change.
Experienced leader in youth work, community development, and team management, with over 30 years of experience—including 25 years in the voluntary sector. Skilled in adapting to changing funding landscapes, delivering impactful services, and building resilience in young people through trauma-informed approaches. Extensive expertise in detached and outreach youth work, problem-solving, and managing interventions to address anti-social behaviour.
Passionate about staff development, safeguarding, and fostering positive change through education, mentoring, and community engagement.
