I am an experienced bar tender turned reception teacher. So basically managing chaos is my full time job and I have the patients of a saint! I worked in bars for 7 years and have been missing that version of chaos. I am reliable, responsible and approach work with a good sense of humour even when we are “in the weeds”. I live in Wimbledon and am available evenings and weekends for the duration of Wimbledon tennis.
Galgorm Resort and Spa Ballymena - June 2025 - December 2026. I worked in the busy hotel bar; pouring pints, measuring spirits, mixing cocktails from our menu and by guest request. Taking orders in POS for drinks and food, checking allergies, taking payment including room charges. Waiting and clearing tables.
Barista standard coffees. This also still my Christmas job every time I go home because they ask for me back to help with silly season.
The Railway Tavern Richmond - December 2023 - July 2024. In the Rails we often managed the crowds before and after Twickenham and Brentford games. Pouring pints, measuring spirits, mixing cocktails, taking orders and payment on POS, running food and drinks to tables, clearing tables and glasses. Setting up and breaking down the bar.
The Crown Liquor Saloon Belfast - September 2016 - August 2020. A very busy tourist bar in Belfast. Can pour an expert pint of Guinness including a shamrock but that is sacrilege to a good Guinness. This pub had hand pulled cask ales which I now have a good knowledge of as well as Taking orders, pulling pints including hand pulled ales.
Changing kegs. Making mixed drinks including 40 varieties of gin and cocktails. Handling cash. Operating the coffee machine and making and serving speciality coffees. Closing down and clean up.
